our story
WAYFINDER began as a high school engineering class project.
As a volunteer firefighter and high school student, EIS founder Jared Therrien realized a need for wayfinding and navigational aids for first responders, susequently developing the design standards and custom signage materials that have evolved into the WAYFINDER window and exit door numbers of today.
Currently, WAYFINDER Classroom Window Numbers are the only decals that meet and exceed safety window labeling requirements in all 50 states.
Building numbering is our niche and expertise! We designed WAYFINDER to be highly visible while offering consistency from building to building.
Our numbering guidelines are based on a combination of recommendations from government safety organizations, after action reports, and our own team members' experience as first responders.
We've specialized in classroom window and door numbering for over a decade, but have also expanded to include other wayfinding aids and evacuation maps to offer standardization for your emergency responses.
